Arnaud

1.5 oz Gin
1.5 oz Creme de Cassis
1.5 oz Dry Vermouth

Heard that it's after the name of some French Actress.

Sounds very berry, and yes, it is.
Strong scents of cassis and vermouth almost erases the
unwanted and unique smell of gin.

Pretty pleasant mix.
(though it isn't very much to my taste.)

Leo the Lion

I guess the source of my recipes are either of one, mostly.
One is from the comic book, and the other one is http://haromk2.egloos.com

Had no idea how it will come out, but it was better than I expected.
Pretty good. By the time, I had to believe the power of the brandy.

Dry Vermouth 2 oz
Brandy 1/2 oz
White mint 1tsp
(4:1:1/3)

Polar short cut

Just like many of my recipes, I found this in a comic book called, bartender.

The cocktail is said to be made to celebrate the new air route to get to polar in a short cut, or was it pass the polar, to somewhere else.

Nah, I don't remember.

Dark rum 1
Cherry Brandy 1
Dry Vermouth 1
-> Stir

Not very familiar taste for me, and wasn't enough to live up to my expectation when I read the comic book, but definitely a new try for me.
Say, taste of being an adult.
